Response to the RESPONSE

The E-P’s backers are considering the next move and the level of support.

Its not quite as negative as it reads at first and the Marine Bill was always likely to get first crack at the available resource/backing.

But the elephant is now firmly in the room

Thanks for those who’ve shown their support - the campaign website will be updated with news as things unfold

I have signed the Downing St. petition Jamie.

Even better than signing the petition (or at least as well as), is to all just just stick your cross somewhere else next voting day. I’m sick of the people of England getting a second rate service from Westminster compared to that of Scotland; less freedom, worse services and higher costs.

As for having to channel resources to the Marine Bill, it’s amazing how they can only do one thing at a time when they’re not that bothered about a subject. I understand that one MP has recently passed a Private Member’s Bill to make sure that his favourite meal must always be served in the canteen (after a new chef took it off recently). That Bill went through in a few weeks (despite being so trivial it shouldn’t even have happened in the first place). So public money and other resources can always be ‘found’ when it suits them.

Get them out, then we can decide amongst us what the people of England (and not Westiminster) want.
